At St. Joseph Catholic Multi Academy Trust, we have yet another reason to celebrate this year as one of our schools continues to make us proud. We are delighted to share that Trinity Tots, part of Trinity Catholic Academy, has been rated ‘Good in all areas’ in its latest Ofsted inspection.
At SJCMAT, we are relentless in our pursuit of excellence, ensuring that every academy within our Trust delivers a rich, nurturing, and world-class Catholic education. Ofsted recognised this commitment, praising Trinity Tots for its “high expectations for all children”, its “culture of respect and warmth,” and how the “children are enthralled by these experiences” – qualities that embody our mission.
This achievement highlights the exceptional work of our leadership and staff, who are committed to transforming lives by creating a high-quality learning environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and spiritually.
Key findings from the Ofsted report:
- “Children are enthralled by new experiences and look forward to exploring the world around them.”
- “Happy sounds fill the rooms of this setting. All children enjoy their time in this setting.”
- “Leaders and staff have a clear, shared vision for the curriculum. They strive to ensure all activities are meaningful and engaging.”
- “Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are held to the same ambitious standards as their peers. They quickly begin to meet their individual goals and next steps in development.
- “Leaders and staff implement a curriculum that is easy for all children to access. They set high expectations for every child and believe all children are capable of great things.”
- “Parents praise the leaders and staff. They feel supported and understand how best to aid their children’s development at home, thanks to the efforts of leaders and staff.”
As a Trust, we are devoted to ensuring that all our academies deliver education of the highest standard. Trinity Tots is just one example of our mission in action – a place where children want to learn in, with a strong sense of belonging and peace, knowing they are part of God’s great plan.
We take immense pride in this recognition, but we are even more proud of our young learners, exceptional staff, and supportive families who contribute to making all the academies in our Trust such loving and joyful places to learn.
