Transforming Outcomes with Ark Curriculum Plus
Teaching and learning are both sides of the education coin. Without capable and confident teachers, pupils are unable to learn to the best of their abilities. Children with disadvantages are also unable to overcome barriers and challenges they otherwise would if teaching bespoke to their needs were available.
This is why we’ve partnered with Ark Curriculum Plus to help our teachers improve their already great skills and deliver best-in-class education to all pupils across the Trust.
Ark Curriculum Plus is designed to support teachers in providing consistent, high-quality education to all students, especially disadvantaged pupils. It maps out and shows the units of work studied throughout each programme and how they combine to build knowledge and understanding in pupils.
We are always trying to prepare our teachers and pupils for success, and we have been implementing the AC+ programmes in Mathematics, English, Science, History and Geography across all seven of our schools since September 2022.
By elevating teacher confidence and student engagement through AC+ programmes, our teachers can drive increased positive impact of their teaching on our pupils.
Since implementing AC+ across the Trust, we have seen truly transformative results in terms of staff, students and outcomes. Our teachers are so much more confident in what they are teaching, standards across the schools have raised immensely and our pupils are really engaged in their learning.
